Our belief

Statement of faith. We are a Christian organization, the Church or Ministry holds the following doctrinal convictions according to the teaching of God’s word:

  1. THE HOLY BIBLE
The Holy Bible is the word of God, Inspired by Him 2 Timothy 3:15-17. It is the authority
concerning all matters of the Christian faith and is what to be used for preaching and teaching, and for the Christian life and conduct. The Holy Bible is the guide of Christian ministry and is what determines whether a prophetic revelation is from God or not. Galatians 1:89Isaiah 8:20Proverbs 30:56. The Holy Bible contains 66 books, 39 of which are in the Old Testament and 27 in the New Testament.

  2. THE GODHEAD
The Father, the Son (Jesus) and the Holy Spirit are three separate Persons that make up the Godhead none is greater than the others. The Lord our God is one LORD but exists in three separate Persons. Matthew 28:19Mark 12:291 John 5:7.

  3. THE VIRGIN BIRTH OF JESUS
Jesus the only begotten Son of God was born into this world of flesh and blood through the virgin Mary. He lived a sinless life, was crucified by sinful men, by the predetermined counsel of God, died on the cross, and was buried and resurrected bodily after three days and ascended back to heaven. Isaiah 7:14Matthew 1:18-251 Corinthians 15:34.

  4. TOTAL DEPRAVITY, SINFULNESS AND GUILT OF All MEN
    Man fell into sin in the Garden of Eden through the temptation of Satan and disobedience to God’s word. The result of this was that man became sinful and completely depraved in his heart and life. He is subject to the wrath and condemnation of God. Genesis 3:1-24;
    6:5-7; Psalm 51:5Romans 3:23.

  5. REPENTANCE
All sinful men need to repent from their sins to believe on the LORD Jesus Christ to be saved. Repentance involves turning away from all known sin for the purpose of embracing the new life of righteousness which is through faith in the LORD, Jesus Christ. Without sincere repentance, faith in the LORD Jesus cannot be effectual, hence there can be no salvation. Mark 1:14-15Luke 24:47Acts 2:37-3820:20-21.

  6. RESTITUTION
After a person has repented of his sins and given his life to Jesus, God’s word demands that
he makes right some wrong, things done by him such as restoring what he has stolen,
confessing and apologizing for wrongs done, paying back just debts and making amends in case of wrong marriage and false claims. This is necessary for a pure conscience void of offence towards God and towards man. Restitution adorns the gospel of Jesus Christ and draws God’s sufficient grace for the believer. Acts of restitution continues in the Christian walk. Exodus 22:1-7Leviticus 6:1-72 Samuel 12:1-6Genesis 20:1-18Acts 23:1-524:16.

  7. JUSTIFICATION
Faith on the Lord Jesus brings Justification on the repentant sinner. Justification is God’s
gracious acts of imputing righteousness on the repentant sinner who exercises faith on the Lord Jesus. Justification also means forgiveness of sins, regeneration, the new birth, born
again, adoption, child of God, born of the Spirit, new creature, a believer in Christ Jesus.
When a person is justified by God his name is written in the book of life. Romans 5:1John 1:12-133: 3-52 Corinthians 5:17Titus 3: 4-7Luke 10:20.

  8. WATER BAPTISM
Whoever has believed on the Lord Jesus should be baptize in water, according to the commandment of the Lord Jesus Christ Matthew 28:19. Water baptism is not for the unrepentant sinner, nor for unconscious and ignorant children. It is for the one who has heard the gospel of the LORD Jesus Christ, become convicted of his sins, repented of them and submitted his or her life to Jesus Christ as personal LORD and Saviour. Mark 16:15-16Acts 2:37-388:35-39. The new believer is baptized in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Matthew 28:19. He is immersed once into the water.

  9. THE LORD’S SUPPER
All the believers in Christ should regularly partake of the LORD’s Supper. The Lord
commanded his followers to regularly observe the LORD’s Supper which He demonstrated and instituted the last night he was with His disciples before his arrest. Matthew 26:26-29Luke 22:19-20. The bread used was unleavened bread and the cup or drink was the fruit of
the vine. The bread represents His body that was given for the salvation of humanity and the cup represents His blood that was shed for the forgiveness of sins of humanity. Sinners and backsliders are not to partake in the LORD’s Supper. One must examine himself to
ensure that he is in Christ’s righteousness before he eats of the bread and drinks of the cup. As often as this is done, we show the LORD’s death and until He comes. 1 Corinthians 11:23-24.

  10. ENTIRE SANCTIFICATION
In Scripture sanctification has two meanings; the first signifies dedication, consecration, set apart for God for holy uses. This involves things, places and persons. Exodus 13:2Leviticus 20:7. The second meaning of sanctification concerns personal Christian experience of a believer through faith in Christ by which the believer is purified or cleansed from inward impurity called the sinful nature, adamic nature, inbred sin, the old man, and is enabled by grace to live consistently in holiness and purity. This experience is definitive or instantaneous through faith in Christ. John 17:16-20Ephesians 5:25-271 Thessalonians 5:22-24.

  11. HOLY GHOST BAPTISM
Jesus promises those who believe in Him baptism with the Holy Ghost. This is an experience required for effective service for God and which opens door to the operation of the gifts of the Holy Spirit. All who are born again have in them the Spirit of Christ, by which they were born again. However, baptism with the Holy Spirit is a definite Christian experience in which the one who has already believed in Christ is instantaneously filled with the power of the Holy Spirit. Speaking in tongues is the immediate evidence of this spiritual experience. Luke 24:49; Acts l:4-5, 8; 2:1-4; 10:44-46.

  12. REDEMPTION, HEALING AND HEALTH
By the sacrifice of Himself on the cross, Christ provided for man total redemption, salvation, deliverance and freedom. In Christ, man was set free from sin, Satan and sickness. In Christ, man has free access to healing and health, riches and wealth, freedom and victory. God’s spiritual blessings in heavenly places become man’s in Christ, faith in God and His word. Prayer to Him are required for these benefits to be enjoyed by the righteous. 1 Corinthians 1:30Matthew 8:16-17Psalm 103:1-5Galatians 3:13-14John 12:12-14Romans 1:16-17.

  13. PERSONAL EVANGELISM
God demands believers to preach the gospel to others so that they also can believe and be saved. The calling and grace to win souls to Christ is given to every believer in a general sense. The believer is responsible to share the message of salvation with others because of the love and mercy of God in his life. The believer feels compelled to preach to others because of the blessings of righteousness and the rewards of sin. The command to preach
the gospel was given to every believer. Every believer should be involved in this duty in varying degree according to God’s grace, strength, and calling. Matthew 28:18-20; Mark
    16:15-20; Luke 24:46-49Ezekiel 3:17-212 Kings 7:1-11.

  14. MARRIAGE
The marriage institution was set up by God. Hence it is good to marry. God’s first marriage constitution is between Adam and Eve and showed the union of one man to one woman. This got relax during the law among Israelites in the old testament due to the hardness of the heart of men. But the LORD, Jesus Christ in His gospel returns marriage to the first condition of one man joined to one woman for life. Divorce and remarriage is not permissible until the death of either partner. Anyone whose marriage is not according to scriptural standard is sinning and shall not inherit the kingdom of God. Hence those who have come to Christ through repentance and faith, must also carry out restitution on their marriage, where required, in order to live a life pleasing to God. A believer who desires to marry must marry a fellow believer, not a sinner or backslider. Genesis 2:24Matthew 19:3-9Romans 7:2-32 Corinthians 6:14-181 Corinthians 7: 10-11.

  15. THE RAPTURE
Believers are expecting, according to Christ’s promise, the return of the LORD Jesus to take them from the earth to heaven. This event is called the rapture of the saints. The rapture is the catching away of the saints living on earth to meet the LORD in the air who shall take them to heaven. The rapture is the first phase of the second corning of Christ. The rapture shall take place at any moment. At the rapture, all the dead in Christ shall resurrect with new bodies and those in Christ who are alive shall be changed and both shall be caught up to meet the LORD in the air. The rapture shall take place before the great tribulation. Believers must live with preparation of the rapture every moment. John 14:1-31 Corinthians 15:51-581 Thessalonians 4:13-185;4-9; l John 3:1-3.

  16. THE RESSURECTION OF THE DEAD
There shall be the resurrection of the dead. Everyone who has ever lived in this world and died from Adam, shall be physically resurrected from death. The Bible teaches clearly the
resurrection of the dead. Jesus died and physically resurrected on the third day. This is a clear evidence that there shall be resurrection after death. There shall be two kinds of resurrection. The resurrection of the Just, which is called the first resurrection. At the rapture, all the dead in Christ shall rise. The last phase of the first resurrection shall take place shortly before Christ comes with his saints to earth for the millennial reign. All who do not resurrect in the first resurrection shall resurrect in the second resurrection shortly before the great white throne Judgment. This is the resurrection of damnation, the
resurrection of sinners of all ages, who shall be Judged and condemned to everlasting hell. Isaiah 26:19Daniel 12:2John 5:28-291 Thessalonians 4:13-16Revelation 20:4-612-131 Corinthians 15:12-57.

  17. THE GREAT TRIBULATION
Immediately after the rapture of the saints the earth shall pass through tribulation period for seven years The men on earth shall suffer a period of great tribulation. Although the nation of Israel shall be the focus at this time, as the period Is called the time of Jacob’s trouble, the great tribulation shall have a universal effect on all men In the world. The main character during this time shall be the Antichrist, a man, who shall be invested with full satanic authority to rule the world and oppress mankind, especially, Israel. He shall make himself God and shall do many wonders. Men on earth shall worship him as God. Men shall yet be saved at this time, but with great difficulty. He shall put the saints to death. Men shall be forced to bear his mark which Is 666. The great tribulation on Israel shall make them repent of their sin of rejecting their Messiah Jesus who came for them. They shall plead with God to send Him back to them. The great tribulation period shall end with the battle of Armageddon at the second coming of Christ. Apart from the tyranny of the Antichrist on men on earth, the great tribulation period is also a time God shall pour down His wrath literally on men on earth for their rebelllon and wickedness against Him. During this period alo the saints who are with Christ In heaven after the rapture shall be enjoying the marriage supper of the Lamb of God and the rewards of righteousness and righteous service. Hence they shall be Judged by Christ for the purpose of rewards. Matthew 24:212229Mark 13:192 Thessalonians 2:3-12; Revelation 13; 19: 1·10.

  18. THE SECOND COMING OF CHRIST
The LORD Jesus promised that he would return to this earth the second time. This is called the Second Coming of Christ. In His first coming, He came to die for the sins of mankind, He came as a babe in the manger, as a man of sorrow, despised and rejected of men. But in His second coming, he is coming with the power and glory of God, as King of kings and LORD of lords. He shall descend visibly from heaven, accompanied by Angels and saints. His feet shall rest upon mount olive. He shall come to rule the world for a thousand years. Zachariah 14:3-4; Matthew 25:31-3626:64Jude 14-15Mark 13: 24-37.

  19. CHRIST MILLENIAL REIGN
Christ shall establish His government over men on earth and reign literally over them for a period of one thousand years. This is called the Millennial Reign of Christ. During this time
the Antichrist shall be cast into hell. Satan shall be bound and thrown into the bottomless pit for a period of 1000 years. The reign of Christ in the world shall be characterized with righteousness, peace and prosperity. His saints shall rule with Him. The headquarters of his kingdom shall be the present Jerusalem. Revelation 20:2-3Isaiah 11:6-965:25Hosea 2:18Zechariah 14:9-20Isaiah 2:2-4.

  20. THE GREAT WHITE THRONE JUDGMENT
After the Millennial reign, there shall be a period in which all sinners shall be resurrected for judgment, together with sinners that are still alive, they shall be Judged, every one according to his works which are written in the books of record. Satan and his angels shall also be Judged at this time. Believers shall not be among those to be judged at this time because Christ had already been Judged for their sins. Having believed In Christ, they are free from judgment. After the Judgment, Satan and the falling angels, and sinners shall be condemned to everlasting fire. Jesus shall be the great Judge sitting on the great white throne of judgment. Daniel 12:2Matthew 10:1511:21-2412:41-42John 3:17-195:2428-29Romans 2:15-1614:12Revelation 20:11-15.

They shall enjoy eternal peace, love, joy, happiness, prosperity, and. fullness of life. 2 Peter 3:10·14; Isaiah 65:1766:221 John 3:2-3; revelation 21:1-7; 22:1-5.

  22. HELL
God created hell for Satan and the fallen angels that rebelled against Him in heaven. Hell is a place of everlasting fire and torture. The people condemned to it are conscious of themselves and shall be there forever. Sinners are condemned to it for submitting to Satan and rebelling against God. Hell has fire and literal worms which bore holes through their victims to their torment. The victims of hell remember are condemned there for their sinful deeds when alive on earth. Men and women of all ages, races, young and old, who rebelled against God, will all have their dwelling in hell. Every sinner who dies goes to hell to await the great white throne judgment. Psalm 9:17Matthew 25:46; Mark 9;43-47; Luke 16: 19-31Revelation 14:10-11.
